I do like to get up first in the morning and to rub my girlfriend’s nose while she is still sleeping. And every morning before I leave to job, I try to kiss her. At first, our readers Billy’s idea didn’t look attractive, however after thinking a bit, I’ve decided, I would gladly tell it to my girlfriend. As I am on holiday, my lunch break is basically all my day – just working on my internet projects and thinking (or at least, telling my girlfriend that I am) about my girlfriend. Anyway, I just remembered, that sometimes my girlfriend is asking unreasonable questions i.e. how do I look? do you miss me? do you think about me? You know, these kind of questions, to which guys would say “of course, I am…”.

I was thinking… if she is asking these kind of questions, there is something wrong (well, of course, our girls needs atention) and we should do something about it.

Do you remember what was the last time she asked you? I remember my girlfriend was asking whether I think about her during my lunch break… therefore, when she will come back home after University today, I will make a cup of coffee for her and I will tell her: I was thinking about you during my lunch break.

Uhh, it’s been only a few days of holidays and I already miss my lunch breaks at work.

If it was up to me, I would get up at 5 a.m. every morning. However, since I am living with my girlfriend, it is definitely not up to me. Therefore, we sleep a little bit longer.

Nonetheless, in each situation you can find something good. Next morning (if you happen to spend the night with your girlfriend/wife/lover/whatever) wake up first (how hard can it be?) and gently rub her nose and whisper sunshine, it’s morning already.

Sometimes you catch yourself just staring at your girlfriend and thinking about footbal (or whatever). Strangely enough, once you realize that, your girlfriend will notice that too. And guess what will she ask? Of course, she will ask what are you thinking about, and all your efforts to come up with something unique will be wasted.

Instead, if you are lucky enough to catch yourself just few seconds before your girlfriend opens her mouth, tell her slowly: your glowing eyes make me happy. I know it doesn’t make a lot of sense, however, instead of asking “unanswerable” questions, your girlfriend will smile silently.

Win-win situation right? So, who won the last footbal match on Friday?

Thank you! - I guess these two words are often forgotten in many situations. We take so many things for granted when actually we shouldn’t. So, next time your girlfriend will make you a cup of coffee or will give you a warm hug, say thank you.

Yesterday late evening my girlfriend and I were going home on a bus. As it was quite late, we were tired and had to try hard not to fall asleep. She laid her head on my should and I started to stroke her hair gently.

Sometimes you can catch yourself just starring at your girlfriend without saying anything. Last Thursday my girlfriend came to meet me after my job. We decided to go for a walk and to visit lovely Departure cafe on the way home.

While we were walking we were talking about the day and suddenly she asked me:

- Do you love me? – well, sometimes girlfriend suddenly realize they want more attention, right?
- Yes – I have answered politely knowing that she will not be happy with this answer.
- How much do you love me? – she asked again as I predicted.
- Every two minutes in a day – I tried to make a joke, however this didn’t sound funny for her, neither for me.

When was the last time you had a picnic with your girlfriend? I do not know why, however when we go for picnic (which happens way too seldom), or whenever we go somewhere to the fields or parks, at the time when we hit the ground and have a seat my head is instantly located on her knees.

My girlfriend loves to let someone (i.e. old granny) sit in her place while she is standing. On the other side, I hate that – especially if I am already sitting down.

However, last day on the tube I found a win-win solution for that. My girlfriend stood up and old funny man sat in her place, therefore I suggested to my girlfriend to sit on my lap. I was her hero of the day, and even other guys on the train were envying me.

It seems from sweet things to say I have moved to different ways of expressing your love. Well, what can I do? I do love my girlfriend very much, and she does feel that I could talk about love more often.

So, instead of saying plain “I love you”, tell her I never knew what love is… (yes, pauses makes them crazy!) until I’ve met you.

Some sweet things to say works like two edged sword. However, if she knows your past, and you (more or less) know her past, feel free to tell her: I’ve fallen in love so many times… (yes, here you make a long looonnng pause – it will feel as eternity for her) and always with you.

Even when she knows you had a lot of girlfriends in the past, she will be happy to here these sweet words. Everyone needs to feel loved, however sometimes you must confirm that by saying sweet things.

I noticed that after starting this trial of saying sweet things to my girlfriend, every day it becomes easier to come up with new lines. And it is not only sweet things to say, but something more – I have started to appreciate my girlfriend more.

Today, after long walk we were lying on the bed and I have put my head on her breasts. I was listening to her heartbeat and almost felt asleep. Then I realised, that I am really enjoying the sound of her heart and almost instantly I have said I love to listen to your heartbeat. I really doubt that this would give you any advantage on your first date. However, if you are really into her, and you are going out together for a while already, notice how she is interacting with kids. For example, take her on your little newphew’s birthday and if she will start playing with kids, tell her: you would be great mummy.

Somes lines sound better than others. Some sweet things to say have to be used on special occassions. With this one, you cannot come out of the blue, but you have to wait for special occassion. And I cannot tell you when you should say: I want to be there to hold your hand and shield you from any troubles that come your way, however you will definitely be her hero of the day if you say it when she needs to hear that.
