As it is said that eyes are the mirror of our soul, I believe that we can express our feelings through them, for example, by blinking: I told my girlfriend to guess the sentence that I made by blinking (one blink means one syllable). North Star accompanies and guides us through our journeys, so it should mean a great deal for each and every one of us. I truly think that girlfriends may also be named as this star as they are companions of our lives and the ones who bring light to them.

From my own experience I also know that most of the girls are capable of giving really great advice and my girlfriend is not an exception. I couldn’t find the right words to thank her enough for doing this, till one evening, I accidentally took a glance at the sky where I saw the North Star. Then I realized that my girlfriend and this Star have a lot in common and most importantly they both show me my path: all those advice and her support helped me to overcome many problems and to handle tough situations in my life.

The sun can’t shine all the time like the days can’t always be only good ones, rough days may occur as well. Sometimes your girlfriend may seem miserable and depressed, during the days like this, the most important assignment is to show that you truly care for her.

Recently, I had this kind of situation on my own: I couldn’t help but notice that my girlfriend was having a bad day, even though, she denied of having so. I’ve tried to find out what had happened, kept asking her questions till she admitted something was wrong, but she found it unnecessary to tell, because she didn’t want to bother me. She just kept saying that everything’s going to be OK and there’s no need for me to feel miserable too… I wanted to show how much I care for her and said: But I’m happy, only, if you’re happy and whatever bothers you – bothers me as well, so feel free to tell me your concerns…

Instead of saying simple things in the simple way (which in most cases works just fine, but…), you could be more creative… Next time you will meet your girlfriend, instead of saying that you miss her, say: Last night I looked up into the stars and matched each one with a reason why I love you. I was doing great untill I ran out of stars…

I was thinking about you during my lunch break

As I am on holiday, my lunch break is basically all my day – just working on my internet projects and thinking (or at least, telling my girlfriend that I am) about my girlfriend. Anyway, I just remembered, that sometimes my girlfriend is asking unreasonable questions i.e. how do I look? do you miss me? do you think about me? You know, these kind of questions, to which guys would say “of course, I am…”.

I was thinking… if she is asking these kind of questions, there is something wrong (well, of course, our girls needs atention) and we should do something about it.

Do you remember what was the last time she asked you? I remember my girlfriend was asking whether I think about her during my lunch break… therefore, when she will come back home after University today, I will make a cup of coffee for her and I will tell her: I was thinking about you during my lunch break.

Yesterday late evening my girlfriend and I were going home on a bus. As it was quite late, we were tired and had to try hard not to fall asleep. She laid her head on my should and I started to stroke her hair gently.

I know that in this scenario (let’s call it scenario, ok?) you don’t have to add anything else… because when you girlfriend is tired (or even when you boyfriend is tired) and you are playing with their hair – you are the star of the evening. If your girlfriend could, probably she would turn into a little cat and would enjoy that stroking a little bit more.

- Yes – I have answered politely knowing that she will not be happy with this answer.

- Every two minutes in a day – I tried to make a joke, however this didn’t sound funny for her, neither for me.
