Are you being too sweet with your girlfriend? I guess, if you try to come up with something sweet to say every other minute, probably you are not doing well. Or… on other hand, she should at least appreciate your efforts. However, sometimes you do not need to think of what to say – just try observing her. As I am on holiday, my lunch break is basically all my day – just working on my internet projects and thinking (or at least, telling my girlfriend that I am) about my girlfriend. Anyway, I just remembered, that sometimes my girlfriend is asking unreasonable questions i.e. how do I look? do you miss me? do you think about me? You know, these kind of questions, to which guys would say “of course, I am…”.

I was thinking… if she is asking these kind of questions, there is something wrong (well, of course, our girls needs atention) and we should do something about it.

Do you remember what was the last time she asked you? I remember my girlfriend was asking whether I think about her during my lunch break… therefore, when she will come back home after University today, I will make a cup of coffee for her and I will tell her: I was thinking about you during my lunch break.

Uhh, it’s been only a few days of holidays and I already miss my lunch breaks at work.

If it was up to me, I would get up at 5 a.m. every morning. However, since I am living with my girlfriend, it is definitely not up to me. Therefore, we sleep a little bit longer.

And guess what will she ask? Of course, she will ask what are you thinking about, and all your efforts to come up with something unique will be wasted.

Instead, if you are lucky enough to catch yourself just few seconds before your girlfriend opens her mouth, tell her slowly: your glowing eyes make me happy. I know it doesn’t make a lot of sense, however, instead of asking “unanswerable” questions, your girlfriend will smile silently.

If your girlfriend is talking non-stop about her life, about her boots, about her lessons, about her dresses and you feel you start to dazzle away little by little, just start smiling. Form a huge smile on your face, which eventually will stop her talking and when she will ask what’s up with your smile, tell her: your smile forces me to smile.

Which probably will do more harm then good in this situation. However, these same words could make her feel special when you both are looking at each other silently and you smile like a baby.

Sometimes (well, these times, quite often) you get separated and you are forced into a long distance relationship. Thanks God, we have Internet right? However, when it comes down to talking, sometimes it feels like I have nothing to say for my girlfriend, even though I miss her a lot.

All you need is a good beginning. I feel empty without you – is quite a good start to make her feel missed and to start a small talk about your feelings.
