There are quite a few different views on when you should tell your girlfriend that you love her (or not tell her at all, and play around “who tells it first”). However, from my own perspective, if you really do love your girlfriend as I do love my lady, the best thing you could say her is “you are the love of my life“.

The toughest (for you guys, who are just trying to sound right) and the easiest (for us guys, who are really blessed with special lady who we really do love) thing will be to sound like we really mean it.

But I do love her. And she is the love of my life. And she should really know it. Your girlfriend, should really know it as well. So, what stops you from saying it? You know you love her.

It feels really good to do a good job. You should feel good while doing a sweet thing for your girlfriend too. Gently place a blanket over her if she falls asleep. She (hopefully) will not even feel that… however, she will be able to appreciate your good deed after she wakes up.

And believe me, it feels so good, to take care of your girlfriend when she is not asking for that.

Have lunch together

If it is possible, meet during your lunch break and have lunch together. I know it might seem boring to do it everyday, and you might say that it’s quite expensive to have lunch in the city. However today my girlfriend came to my job and we both went near the St. Pauls Cathedral to eat our sandwiches. Take away coffee, few sandwiches, maybe some soup and both of us smilling – what else would you need for your lunch break?

If you were laying on your bed and she fell asleep, don’t wake her up yet – let her take an afternoon nap. This does not mean that you can go to your computer and chat with your friends. Just stay with her… watch her while she sleeps – appreciate how nice your girlfriend is.

Sometimes you need a special occasion to say something sweet to your girlfriend (same thing as with flowers, right?). However, sometimes it works better when it is unexpected (probably, most of the times). Let’s say, you are going for a walk with your girlfriend and you are talking about your studies (like that’s going to happen any time soon?) or whatever… and then in the middle of nowhere you tell her: by the way, you look breathtaking.

And now she is out of breath!

Put your hands in her back pockets

Whenever I have a chance (and whenever my girlfriend is wearing jeans), I try to hug her and then slowly put my hands into her back pockets.

By the way, while I was writting this my girlfriend passed by and read it. Then she replied, it’s sweet things to do, but the girlfriends are the ones who is doing something – allowing you guys to touch her ass.

Sms messages changed our way of communicating with each other, and there is no way back.

I get really annoyed if I am busy, and someone sends me sms message. However, yesterday I was thinking about my girlfriend’s messages. Yes, I am busy with all these things around me. However, so is she. She is living her own life too, but she finds some time to share her happy moments with me. And I should really respect that.

So, guys, reply to her messages. Let your girlfriend know, that you are part of her happiness.

Do you play any board games together or with friends?

I am not really fond of these games, however my girlfriend is. And sometimes she is really insisting of playing chess, or whatever other game two of us could play. One important thing I have noticed – she wants to win, no matter what (as usually, all girls like winning, right?).

So, even if you are a master of the game – do yourself a favor. Let her win.

I am not saying, that you should always lose (that would hurt our ego, right boys?), however by letting her sometimes win, you will be winning her affection.

Take a walk

It’s really good to try everyday to come up with different sweet things to say to your girlfriend. However, these thoughts sometimes run out, however you still want to be the best you can be.

Keeping it simple again, just take a walk with her. Instead of sitting in front of the TV this evening, grab her hand and go out. Start walking anywhere… start talking about anything. These moments of taking action instead of thinking about it makes the difference.

Give her a hug every day

I know some couples who are like glued together (usually, this happens when we start dating someone, right?). Unfortunately, I know some couples who seems never to hug each other.

The best sweet thing to do to yourgirlfriend is – give her a hug every day. Create a routine, or allocate some time, when all you need to do – is hug her. Believe me or not, this will create intimacy you both will enjoy in the future.

Let your girlfriend sit on your lap

My girlfriend loves to let someone (i.e. old granny) sit in her place while she is standing. On the other side, I hate that – especially if I am already sitting down.

However, last day on the tube I found a win-win solution for that. My girlfriend stood up and old funny man sat in her place, therefore I suggested to my girlfriend to sit on my lap. I was her hero of the day, and even other guys on the train were envying me.

So, if you have a change – let you girlfriend sit on your lap.

Cook together

Yes, we do love when our girlfriends are busy in the kitchen and we are allowed to watch footbal match on TV. However, she would really appreciate your help in the kitchen once in a while. Cook together and after dinner tell her that you loved doing that together.
